Christmas Lean Out, Part 1: The Calories

Boy I was getting fat again! And I juuuuust caught it!!!

Personally I blame Furious Pete here:

This guy has a six pack and he eats like a madman.

What’s your secret, Pete? Or are you just one Lucky B?

So, anyways, I decided to put the thumbscrews back onto the diet plan, and lean out big time for Christmas Time.

This so there’ll be some leeway for my fav candy foodies: French Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream with Rum Raisins… Yummy!

Oh Brother…well, even great men have their weak spots…

Spiced hot red wine…alright enough already!

Super Delish, and super high calories all.

Yeah and that -the calories- was the problem: being on a restricted diet, Furious Pete-Style-Binging sounded just to dang attractive at times…

So that’s what I did:

I had French Chocolate Cake days, followed by Vanilla Ice Cream days….it was all just a little bit too much for my friend, the six pack. So it went and hid. Behind a wall of lard…

Don’t get me wrong, I still have one, but the pounds sure did creep up from my ideal Judo Weight, and that’s just not on!

So now things will get tightened up here…

I will get SUPER RIPPED for Christmas, and I’ll chronicle everything on my blog: the calorie plans, the training, the food choices, everything. And I’ll post pics/videos of my progress, from today until X-Mas.

Not many things as delicious as Vanilla Ice Cream

Oh brother: I love Vanilla Ice Cream, especially with rum raisins!
And the French chocolate cake we get up here? 50% Dark Chocolate? Oh my oh my…

Quick recipe for Rum Raisins: you take some Cuban rum. Then take some raisins. That’s right: throw the raisins into the rum, like in a glass jar or something, so they’re just covered. Keep it standing there for at least a few days, then…enjoy. Goes with all kinds of things, especially -did I mention?- Vanilla ice Cream…

OK but back to this posts main subject: the Calories until Christmas.
I’m planning on creating deficits with Intermittent Fasting on some days, by dietary calorie restriction on others and by both restriction and extra expenditure (burning up some extra energy via means of lifting weights, Interval Training and Judo Practices).

OK when do we start? Today.
I have 0 calories until 4 o’ clock, lifting some weights from 3-4. Then I have about 200 calories worth of high G.I. post workout carbs plus some 4 boiled eggs.
3 more eggs until dinner time, where I have about 700 calories worth of raw oats with a little salt (my all-time favorite healthy and low G.I. carb foodies).
Calorie total: about 1500-1600, give or take, calculating on the high side.

Body Fat measurement, 10.12.2012: 9.6%. Hmmm… WAY to high!!

Body weight measurement, 10.12.2012: 78 kg. 3 kg over my perfect weight.

Tomorrow? Total fast, 0 calories until dinner time, repeat the oats.

When I burned 3 kgs of lard I should be approaching my proper fat % as well. Let’s get cracking…
